Our mom, Florence Tucker, has lived there 2 1/2 years. She is our hero. She lived in the same home since she was married at 17, but after one long cold winter she decided it was time to start a new warm, worry free adventure. She toured many assisted living places in the city and she chose Paradise Villa.

She, my siblings and I took 2 months and sorted almost 70 years worth of treasures. She gave what she wanted to give to whom she wanted, all with the history of the item…I know this isn’t the case for many of those who live at Paradise Villa, but we are proud that she was willing and able to make these decisions.

I know she misses home at times, but she does not miss worrying about the house upkeep, the yard maintenance, meals, keeping warm (every hour of every day), and sitting waiting alone for the phone to ring or someone to drop in.

Paradise Villa has so much to offer if the residents are willing and able to participate. The staff have always been very kind and treated Mom like family.

Our family certainly appreciates all you do for her and the other residents.

Three years ago today, my mom moved into Paradise Villa and I just wanted to send out a little note to remind you all how very grateful I am each and every day for the staff at Paradise Villa.  Everyone goes above and beyond in all areas of work and I cannot say enough about how the staff treats mom.  You are all absolutely wonderful and I thank God every day for each and every one of you.

You have made this transition a positive outcome and for that I am very grateful.  I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Basil and I would like to extend a sincere thank you, to you and your staff for the excellent care you gave to Marie and the support you gave to us. We became very close to the staff especially (Chris, Katrina, Stephanie, Lindsay and Marjorie)

Mom enjoyed the special care and attention from Christa who did her hair on a weekly basis. We think another motto for Paradise Villa could be "Taking care of you and your family".
